We had heard about Beaverlac from a few campers before and decided to take the drive up the Cederburg mountains to visit.
We weren’t disappointed at all with this place! It is a bit of a rocky road to get down to it..with signs clearly saying at your own risk, however it’s an awesome little oasis with incredible walks up to pools only available to campers.
It’s incredibly rustic and when we visited during the week the campsite was perfect for a chilled out break (we don’t know how it would be in holiday time)
If you are looking to get away from it all then this is the spot to do it. Rustic bathrooms, choose your own patch of grass, no electiricity and braai facilities in the form or arranging rocks so bring the braai grid!
At night a blanket of stars and the camp fire were our TV!
Would we recommend it? Without a doubt!!!
